We are Wiggy Cheung and Cait Peterson, and we would be very grateful to receive sponsorship for our upcoming art exhibition in aid of mental health awareness. 

We are both illustration graduates and are arranging an exhibition of our work at House Gallery in Camberwell where there is a large and vibrant community of young artists, musicians and students. Camberwell College of Art, Goldsmiths College, The London College of Communication and Southbank university are all nearby, and we hope to appeal to the students and young graduates living in the area.

We will advertise on social media, buying advertising space on Facebook and encouraging charities and their celebrity spokespeople, and London-based companies to advertise on social media. We would be able to link to our sponsors on our website and Facebook. We will also advertise on websites such as Time Out, and printed media such as The Metro and London Student (Europe's largest student newspaper) which would link to our Facebook page and website.

We will be supporting Rethink and Mind mental health charities and will have information provided by Mind. Mental illness is an important issues in today's society where the leading cause of death in men is suicide. The mental health discrimination bill has just been passed by parliament and people are beginning to openly discuss mental health issues (Celebrities such as Stephen Fry, The Wanted, Davina McCall have all spoken out about mental health), we feel that it is important to stress that it is an issue that we need to support, and learn to understand and deal with. Supporting us would give you an extremely positive image regarding an important and current topic. 

We are looking for £1,200 to help us with rent, advertising and launch night costs. The costs of hiring to gallery is £400 for 3 weeks, and we would like to spend around £300 on the launch night for drinks and nibbles for around 100 people, and the hiring of photographers. We aim to spend about £200 on framing, mounting and rental of any furniture (ie, display cabinets) for the exhibition. The remainder will be spend on advertising in newspapers and magazines, web hosting, and leaflets which we will place in shops, universities etc.
